Can I buy your blinds online?

The beauty of our service is that we take away the uncertainty and risk you would typically experience when buying online. Our blinds can only be ordered following a professional home visit, which we believe is the best way to ensure you have the perfect blind solution to suit your home and style. During your free home visit a member of our team will discuss your requirements, review fabric samples with you in the right lighting conditions and take comprehensive measurements. We take care of everything to ensure an exact fit and match for your home – something that buying online cannot guarantee. 

Do you offer blinds for security?

The right type of blinds and window coverings can go a long way to keep your home secure and comfortable. Privacy and security is something we always take into consideration during your free home visit – giving you one less thing to worry about. 

Do you offer supply only? 

Yes we do. If you are a commercial customer who is interested in this service then please give us a call, we would be happy to help. 

What are the normal lead times?

Generally the lead times for pleated blinds and roman blinds are around 3 weeks from measurement to installation. 

All other blinds take 7 to 10 working days from measurement to installation. 

What guarantee do you offer?

We offer a three year guarantee on all of our blinds, covering all aspects such as faulty materials, parts or workmanship.

Are your blinds Childsafe?

Absolutely. Child safety is of paramount importance to us. All blinds installed by Haselhurst Blinds Ltd are registered with the Childsafe guarantee or installed following the UK Childsafe standard 2014 (BS EN 13120:2009+A1:2014 )

Can motorised blinds be connected to Alexa/Smart device? 

Yes. Our motorised blinds are compatible with many smart home technologies, including Alexa. Smart Blinds are the way of the future, get ahead and get in touch today!

How often do battery powered blinds require re-charging? 

This is a tricky one to judge as it is based on how often the blinds are used. The manufacturers suggest between 6 – 12 months depending on the equipment, but in our experience we would suggest around 8 months with normal usage.

Do you supply mains powered blinds? 

Yes we do! We offer a range of different motorised blind options, including mains powered blinds. 

How do I clean my blinds? 

Venetian or wood: A dry duster is normally sufficient to clean your Venetian or wood blinds, however if you require a more thorough clean then a weak detergent solution should do it.

Fabric blinds: When cleaning fabric blinds always test for colour fastness before you get started and do not soak your fabrics. A weak detergent solution tends to do the trick, however in our experience there isn’t much that a baby wipe can’t take care of!

What is the difference between ‘Dimout’ fabric and ‘Blackout’? 

A fabric with ‘Dimout’ in the name will provide a significant reduction of light transmission. A blackout fabric, will block 100% of light transmission through the fabric due to the combinations of coating on the back of the fabric.
